What is the Outpost?

The Outpost is a church in Apopka, FL where people from all walks of life have been loved and strengthened by God's word since 2017. We believe all people can be set free by Jesus once and for all- the Bible tells us when the Son has set you free you are free indeed.

Here's some more about us

After gathering for church in Joe and Rebecca's home since 2018, we recently purchased 5 acres on Kelly Park Road in Apopka for God to use and have started meeting there. We already see the Lord doing wonderful things there.

Outpost Origins

The early days of the Outpost were beautiful. We know God has even more in store for us in the years ahead. We'd love to have you join us. Come as you are!

Our Vision

Our vision is to see the peace and prosperity of the people of Apopka, FL by sharing and showing the good news of Jesus Christ. Then, by abiding in Him, we want to see things done here on earth as it is in heaven. We want the people of Apopka to experience the power of God to restore all things and bring hope and abundant life.

Our Mission

Our mission is to be a place for people to learn how to experience a personal relationship with God in their lives through the work of Jesus on the cross. We are positioned here as an outpost of God’s kingdom, where all people are invited come to be refreshed, revived and rejuvenated for experiencing life to the fullest.

Our Leadership

Joe and Rebecca Robinson have led The Outpost since 2016. Joe holds a master’s degree in Biblical Studies from Reformed Theological Seminary in Oviedo, FL and served on staff at several churches prior to starting The Outpost. He and Rebecca both work full-time in the Apopka area while volunteering to lead The Outpost. They have been married 17 years and have 3 children. God called them to Apopka, FL to pray for the city, share Jesus with people while helping them grow in their faith to experience every treasure God has for them. Though this, they will be equipped for every good work He prepared in advance for them to do.
